Pick Up Details: 1 BigYellowBag weighs from 1,500 to 1,700 lbs., depending on moisture content. A medium to large pickup truck holds 1 BigYellowBag; a trailer will hold more than 1, depending on the size. Small pickup trucks cannot handle the load, so please bring a trailer if you have a small truck.
Compost Product Information
Soil³ compost is the natural way to improve your soil for all gardens, flowers, trees, shrubs, and lawns.
With the addition of Soil³, your dirt becomes what nature intended for roots to grow in - healthy ground with good structure (air space for water, oxygen, and roots) and the ability to handle water correctly (to drain when too wet and to hold water when too dry).

Compost Ingredients
Our compost is made from dairy cow manure, grass clippings, and wheat stubble.
Use Our Compost For:
- Installing new lawns from sod or seed
- Topdressing lawns for nutrition and soil building
- Planting trees and shrubs
- Planting and topdressing flower beds
When to Use Our Other Options:
- Use Veggie Mix for containers, seed starting, raised beds, and all vegetable gardening.
- For leveling established lawns, get Level Mix, because it has 70% sand in it to add structure.

United StatesFirst Time Gardener and I will never buy soil from Home Depot in plastic bags again
My first spring doing a veggie garden and I find this soil to be on STEROIDS! My neighbor who has been gardening for 20+ years cannot believe the results I am getting with lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, etc. (Atlanta area). I ordered a cubic yard of the Veggie Mix and a cubic yard of the compost. Totally thrilled with both products. Delivery was so easy and their driver was very friendly. Plus, I am not lugging bags of soil from the local big chain store to my house. Worse - the plastic from all of those 1.5 to 2 cubic foot bags goes into our garbage and landfills. I can either take the large Soil 3 bags back to a dealer OR I have split open the bags and put them in weedy areas and covered them with mulch. The Soil 3 bag is so thick that it smothers any weeds. I will NEVER go back to buying raised bed soil or compost from other vendors in small bags. I think it is brilliant that Soil 3 (whose main business is growing sod) pivoted to add this product to their line up. I hope they keep it up!
