Level Mix makes leveling your warm season lawn easy!
Topdressing lawns with Level Mix creates a smooth, even surface without bumps or depressions.
Lawn Types for Level Mix: Level Mix is meant for warm season lawns such as Bermudagrass, Centipedegrass, and Zoysiagrass; it does not work on Tall Fescue.
Timing: The best time to level your warm season lawn is when it's green and actively growing in the spring and summer. Do not topdress when your warm season lawn is dormant.
Ingredients: Level Mix is a 70% golf course sand and 30% Soil³ humus compost blend. Sand levels the lawn and the Soil³ compost gives your warm season lawn a boost of natural nutrients and beneficial bacteria. Together the sand and compost in Level Mix create a level surface without bumps or depressions while providing rich nutrients and beneficial microorganisms for your lawn.

When to Use Our Other Options: Do you want to topdress your lawn with compost to add nutrition, but you don't need the sand to level it? Then you want our Soil³ organic compost, also delivered in a BigYellowBag. Topdressing with Soil³ compost alone is good for both warm season and tall fescue lawns.
Size: 1 BigYellowBag contains 1 cubic yard (or 27 cubic feet) and weighs from 2,000 to 2,200 lbs.
Rate: 1 BigYellowBag of Level Mix will level 500 to 1,000 square feet, depending on site conditions
Delivery: Mark an X on your driveway and you don't even need to be at home when your BigYellowBag arrives. Here are simple delivery instructions, including pictures and a short video, to visualize on how easy we make it.
Price includes local delivery in AL, GA, NC, SC, and TN. If you are in one of these states, but get an error message about delivery, you're possibly a bit farther from our store and delivery will take longer than our standard delivery timeframe. We can probably deliver to you, so please give us a call to make arrangements. (Thank you for your patience!)

Easy Peasy
The soil was very easy to spread due to it not being ladened with rocks, sticks and other debris. It was so soft and clean as if it were sifted. We used it to fill in holes and fissures left by decaying tree trunks and their roots. It was self-leveling and blended in with the soil already in the yard. We will be purchasing more bags soon. Thank you .
